Cold drawing method: Comparing with the traditional cutting technology, the production of high precision cold drawing pipe-hydraulic cylinder has the following characteristics:
(1) High production efficiency: The traditional method of producing cylinders with diameter of 420 mm and length of 12 meters is 154 hours, and the cold drawing method only takes 4 minutes to produce.
(2) Real high speed: Boring of the boring head and play a guiding role in the cutting process, billet tube due to self-weight deviation, resulting in the deviation of the roller and boring tool, resulting in waste. The rate of authentic products can only reach about 60%, while the rate of authentic products can reach more than 95% in cold drawing production.
(3) High metal utilization rate: traditional boring cylinder manufacturing method, metal utilization rate is only 50-70%. By wire drawing, the metal can not only cut into iron, but also extend by 30%. The utilization rate of metal is up to 95%.
(4) Improving the mechanical properties of cold drawn finished tubes: The plastic deformation of billet is more than 30% by wire drawing method, and the hardening and processing strength limit of finished tubes are greatly improved. Generally, the strength limit of finished tube is increased by 60%.
High precision cold drawn tube is mainly used to produce hydraulic cylinder barrel. The inner hole is smooth after cold drawn and honing process, so the cold drawn pipe can also be called pre-honed tube and ready to honed tube.
